RELEASE PARTY SEPTEMBER 14th |
• The Indianapolis based Just
Plain Folks Music Organization
awarded Candlewyck with “Best Bluegrass Song” at this year’s ceremony held
in Santa Ana, California. Just Plain Folks
is a community of over 40,000 Songwriters, Recording Artists, Music Publishers
and Journalists that picked Candlewyck’s song from over 25,000 albums sent in

• A big thanks to everyone who came out to
the Bikestock Festival in Mount Airy
in support of Mountain Valley Hospice. The show was fun and the crowd was
awesome.
We
shared the bill with the Waybacks and the
amazing John Cowan band who blew everyone
away as usual! For the encore, Cowan's group was joined by Chris and Jon from
Candlewyck for an incredible rendition of the Bill Monroe classic, Wheel Hoss
which brought the whole crowd to it's feet. What a night!
We
would also like to thank Mac and all folks involved with the
event. Anyone interested in donating to Mountain Valley Hospice can go to www.bikestockfest.com
